And Moses said to the
people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord,
which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today,
you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for
you, and you shall hold your peace."
Good morning
Lord! As I begin this day I continue to look in the direction associated with
my captivity. The many issues and circumstances which held me from your glory
and peace surround me this day. My soul is too busy with images of my
captivity. Illustrations of my failures, lies, hurts, fears, and pain become a
part of my daily life. It seems I have reached a roadblock at this particular
time in my life. I can hear and see the actions of your saints all around me.
There are moments where I encounter and become a part of and there are moments
when I don’t.
Lord as your
word ministers to me from Exodus 14 13, 14 I begin to see the image of your
power. Just as the armies of Pharaoh were closing in on your people those
images from my past are closing in on me. I bless you God for the power that delivered
your people that day which is also available for me today through the precious
blood of your son the risen Christ. I thank you Lord Jesus because your
sacrifice was not in vain. Today as I look unto you I can do nothing but to “Stand
still and see your salvation”. Today I can see clear to the promise given to me
at the cross of Calvary. Amen
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate
and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by
it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult
is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it……….Matthew
